Open House Events

Grade 9 parents, please mark your calendars.

To support Grade 9 students and their families in the transition to high school, we are preparing to host our annual open house events! Grade 9 students in Memorial's catchment MCHS Attendance Area can expect a jam-packed information session covering all aspects of the upcoming school year.

Grade 9 Open House & First-Time Parent Info. Night

Date: Tuesday, February 13

Time: 5:30 - 8:00 pm

Location: Memorial Composite High School - Large Gym (50 Westerra Centre, Stony Plain)

The evening will start with a brief welcome introduction, followed by a First-Time Parents information presentation. 

Students and their parents or guardians will then be invited to explore the school, visiting both core and elective classrooms. All labs and elective areas will be fully operational, providing participants with an excellent opportunity to experience the distinctive features of each course. This will help students make well-informed decisions about their high school course selections. Come prepared with your questions and enthusiasm—you’ll leave feeling more confident about your child’s transition to high school.

Annual Online Registration/Verification Process

Registration/verification for the 2025-2026 school year must be completed for every student from Pre-K to Grade 12. Registration is conducted exclusively online and opens on February 10, 2025. All parents/guardians are required to complete the registration process by 4:30 pm on Friday, March 28, 2025. For more information, please visit PSD's Registration page.
