For Newcomers

Memorial Composite High School School is located in the Westerra neighbourhood of Stony Plain along Golf Course Road. We serve students in Grades 10-12 who live in and around the Town of Stony Plain and the rural communities stretching to the western edge of Parkland School Division.

Our students are typically graduates of Blueberry School, Duffield School, Entwistle School, High Park School, École Meridian Heights School (English Program), Muir Lake School, Westview School, Tomahawk School and Wabamun School.

Our school is also home to the Living, Academic, Work Skills (LAWS) Program, which helps support students with diverse learning needs.

Will you be attending Memorial Composite High School? Check our School Locator Map to find out if you live in the MCHS attendance area.

Please note: Parkland School Division serves only families who reside in the County of Parkland, the town of Stony Plain and the City of Spruce Grove. We currently have some out-of-jurisdiction students who are permitted to complete the program at their current school. No further out-of-jurisdiction students are being registered in PSD. If your family is not a resident of Parkland School Division, your resident school board is responsible for meeting your educational needs.

Visiting MCHS

Our office is open to the public from 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays and PD days/breaks. See our Calendar & Events page for details.

Parking & Transportation

Visitor parking is located on the southeast side of the front parking lot; overflow parking is available in the student parking area behind the school. A pickup/dropoff area is located directly in front of the main entrance. To ensure student safety, no public traffic is allowed in the bus transfer station to the southwest of the school while buses are loading/unloading.

Checking In & Out of School

The main entrance is located on the northeast side of the school, southwest of the visitor parking lot. The school office is directly to the right of the main entrance doors. All visitors must sign in at the office, register their license plate and wear a visitor pass before going to any area of the school.

Parents picking up their students during school hours must contact the school ahead of time so the student absence can be logged. This prevents any interruption of class time.
