There are some students who enter grade 10 who are academically capable but are not ready for grade 10. For a number of reasons, they have significant gaps in their learning so prerequisite knowledge and skills are not in place for them to be successful in grade 10 level courses though they have the ability. The MCHS Transition Support program supports students in finding and filling their learning gaps in preparation to enter the -2/-3 grade10 program and earn a high school Diploma
